Back in New York, ready to rock

I gambled and lost! When the forecasts for Hurricane Sandy began ramping up, I decided that my small-space, large-windows apartment wasn’t secure and so I left town to stay with my parents. Of course nothing happened to my apartment and neighborhood while my parents lost electricity. YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME!

AnyANYway, before the lights went out, I managed to get something accomplished:

My parents have an assortment of lights and candles so last night, I had the room lit up. I finally finished reading a novel that I’d been putting off for a few months. How are my friends? Question reply is on and photo reply is on. Did you get hit by Sandy? What did you do?
