Writing conflict is the biggest challenge for me right now. I’m too nice to my characters. I don’t know how to put them through the ringer. Deep conflict is how I fell in love with my favorite fiction characters but I cannot seem to overcome this obnoxious desire to make characters happy.
I blame it on living a life of solitude, yah yah, living in my own head, yah yah yah, conflict avoidance, yah yah yah yah yah.
