That’s why you want a smart enemy instead of a stupid enemy; a stupid enemy is liable to do anything

By Ayo.

Week number whatever of building back my glorious comics empire. My website littlegardencomics.com is back online, but in a rudimentary fashion. Still trying to design new comics.

It hurts so bad to start over from the ground. It hurts worse because of how public my thoughts have been.

Everyday, I storyboard comics. The French word for “draw” is “design.” This fits perfectly with what kind of drawing the comic artform entails. It isn’t drawing for drawing’s sake as much as it is drawing in order to serve a larger purpose. Designing.

My laptop is finished. It no longer connects to Internet networks, no longer plays any sound and no longer can perform heavy tasks without crashing. Such is life.

I want to pull away from talking about superhero comics in my blogging and on Twitter. Most of my views line up with the other bloggers enough that I’m redundant.

I’m pulling back from newspaper comics as well. All that my passion for newspaper strips has done is drive wedges between me and the comic book community. Nobody else cares, it’s time for me to grow up.
